Sazerac Rye 18 2018 Edition
Country: USA
Region: Kentucky
Type: Rye Whiskey
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 45%
Score: 93 Points
Widely regarded as one of the classics in Rye whiskies, this year’s release has great rye spices on the nose along with oak, tobacco leaves, leather, and brown sugar. The taste is spicy with cinnamon and black pepper, but complemented nicely by hints of honey, tobacco, and citrus in the background. The finish is slightly astringent and very long with great spices that go on and on, along with subtle touches of honey and citrus. Another classic! (October, 2018)
