Yellowstone Bourbon 2017 Limited Edition
Country: USA
Region: Kentucky
Type: Bourbon
Bottler: Limestone Branch Distillery
ABV: 50.5%
Score: 92 Points
The Beam brothers, Steve & Paul, bottled this Bourbon at their Limestone Branch Distillery in Kentucky from a combination of sourced whiskies and their own whiskey finished in charred wine casks. The nose is aromatic and spicy with hints of black pepper and clove, along with toasted oak, burnt caramel, butterscotch, and honey. The taste is spicy and intense with black pepper and chili powder notes balanced by butterscotch, caramel, and vanilla notes in the background and just a hint of charred oak. The finish is long with lingering spices and a gentle sweetness. (September, 2018)
