The John Milroy Selection Dailuane 9
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Berry Bros. & Rudd
ABV: 54.3%
Score: 91 Points
This Speyside single cask bottling from 2007 comes from an ex-Sherry butt, and was bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd just short of ten years old. The nose is tart with lemon pepper and a hint of allspice, dried apricots, honey, and vanilla. The taste is tart and peppery with lemon pepper, allspice, vanilla, honey, and toasted coconut. The finish is long with a gently fading tartness. Very consistent. (May, 2018)
