This Blended Scotch is matured in charred ex-Bourbon casks, and the nose has touches of campfire smoke, oak sawdust, pencil shavings, dried chili peppers, unground peppercorns, and hints of honey and caramel in the background. The taste is smoky with molasses, cocoa nibs, honey, vanilla, and caramel, while subtle spicy notes add depth in the background. The finish has touches of baked apples, caramel, vanilla, subtle spices, and a hint of campfire smoke. (May, 2018)
