This Japanese single malt from Hombo Shuzo’s Mars Shinsu Distillery has notes of apple cider, dried fruits, muted spices, and a slightly floral aroma on the nose. The taste is tart and spicy with lemon pepper, black pepper, dried fruits, honey, and a hint of pineapple. The finish is medium-length and slightly tart. (May, 2018)
