This single malt from Sweden’s Box Distillery is matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon casks, then finished for 2 1/2 years in new American Oak casks. The nose is soft and creamy with caramel candy, milk chocolate, honey, and vanilla notes. The taste has a good maltiness with caramel, honey, butterscotch, nice spices, and a good balance. The finish is long and honey-sweet with lingering spices. Very nice! (March, 2018)
