This single malt is matured in Australian red wine casks, and the nose has notes of red grapes, fresh berries, and muted spices. The taste is tart and fruity with a subtle spicy bite that develops slowly and notes of raspberries, strawberries, red grapes, allspice, a hint of licorice and a touch of figs. The finish is long and fruity with a hint of licorice in the background. (March, 2018)
