Glen Grant 15
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 50%
Score: 92 Points
The only places to get this ex-Bourbon cask-matured Glen Grant are in travel retail or in the U.S. market, where it was released in early 2018. The nose has notes of tangerines, Clementine oranges, and hints of toffee, vanilla, and almond oil. The taste has good spicy notes of white pepper and ginger balanced nicely by candied fruits, vanilla, honey, and a hint of caramel. The finish is long and smooth with notes of pears, red apples, and hints of oak and almonds. Very nice! (February, 2018)
