Ben Nevis 15 Sherry Cask
Country: Scotland
Region: Highlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 58%
Score: 92 Points
Ben Nevis single malts are hard to find, but usually well worth the effort. This single cask bottling was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2014 after 15 years in an ex-Sherry cask. The nose has fruity notes of plums, berry cobbler, red grapes, and a touch of fig cookies. The taste is thick and fruity with berry cobbler, cinnamon spice, plums, raisins, and red grapes. The finish is long, fruity, and mouthwatering. Nice! (January, 2018)
