This cask-strength single malt was bottled by Connacht Whiskey Company, and comes from an undisclosed Irish distillery. The nose is malty with notes of straw, dried flowers, honey, and vanilla. The taste has notes of clove and cinnamon balanced by lemon zest, honey, vanilla, dried flowers, hints of black tea and butterscotch. The finish is long and nicely balanced with subtle spices, lemon zest, and honey sweetness. (August, 2017)
