Bladnoch Adela
Country: Scotland
Region: Lowlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 46.7%
Score: 92 Points
One of the three initial releases from Bladnoch following its revival, this 15-year-old single malt was matured in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. The nose has notes of black cherries, raisins, dark chocolate, caramel candy, freshly-chopped walnuts, and a touch of brown sugar. The taste is full-bodied and rich with dark chocolate, black cherries, espresso beans, white pepper, and a hint of walnuts. The finish is long, warm, and gentle with hints of black cherries, walnuts, and cocoa. Very nice! (March, 2017)
