This straight rye whiskey from Cooper Spirits is from an undisclosed distillery, and the nose has good rye spices with clove, allspice, vanilla, honey, caramel, and a hint of old leather. The taste is thick and spicy with clove and an intense cinnamon note that builds up quickly, along with vanilla, honey, caramel, and brown sugar notes underneath. The finish is long, dry, and spicy.
