This 10-year-old Bourbon comes from MGP originally, but is blended by the folks at West Virginia’s Smooth Ambler Distillery. The nose is nutty with roasted almonds, vanilla, pipe tobacco, leather, oak, and honey. The taste is spicy with good cinnamon and black pepper notes, along with honey, vanilla, pipe tobacco, and oak. The finish is long, spicy, and smooth. Excellent! (March, 2016)
