This is the first Chivas Regal expression to come without an age statement, and is the first new Chivas Regal expression since the Chivas Regal 25 was introduced in 2007.
The nose is rich and well-balanced with subtle spices, dried apple and banana chips, and a hint of butterscotch. That butterscotch note is clear on the palate, along with good spicy notes of allspice and a hint of black pepper balanced by orange peel, banana, coconut, and vanilla notes. The finish has lingering aromatic touches of banana, grilled pineapple, and butterscotch. (March, 2015)
