This 4-year-old straight Bourbon actually comes from an undisclosed distillery and is bottled by Portland’s Eastside Distilling.
The nose has notes of honey, buttered popcorn, toasted oak, vanilla, and hints of brown sugar. The taste has a good balance of honey, black pepper, and chili powder, along with hints of barbecued beef, brown sugar, and charcoal. The finish is long and slightly flinty with lingering spices.
