The nose is smoky and sweet…beef barbecue on the grill balanced by subtle touches of fresh berries, pine, cedar, and a slight maltiness. The taste is smoky and earthy with a touch of burnt matches at first, followed by tart berries, hints of thick cough syrup and a touch of licorice leading into the finish, which also has a long, sweet smokiness, a touch of briny wet sand, and a hint of chocolate mint in the background. Excellent! (February, 2015)
