Under Billy Walker’s leadership, BenRiach has become known for its luscious sherry cask-finished single malts, including this 15-year-old finished in Pedro Ximenez casks.
The nose has notes of honey, blood oranges, vanilla, and raisins. The taste has dark chocolate balanced by strong tropical fruit notes of mango and papaya, with honey and a subtle hint of minuteness underneath holding it all together. The finish is long, dry, and fruity. Excellent! (January, 2015)
