This Indian single malt whisky comes from John Distilleries in Goa, and is matured in ex-Bourbon casks. The nose has notes of marzipan, orange oils, honey, vanilla, and touches of oak and malt. The taste is juicy and mouth-watering with fruity notes of orange oils and pineapple balanced nicely by brown sugar, dark chocolate, and a touch of ginger. The finish is subtle and smooth with notes of vanilla, ginger, brown sugar, and orange. (December, 2014)
