This is a rarity…an unaged Australian Rye whiskey from Tasmania’s Belgrove Distillery. The nose is grassy with subtle spices and hints of dried banana chips. The taste is spicy and peppery with dried citrus fruits and hints of smokiness, while the finish is long and spicy with a slight touch of brown sugar underneath. (July, 2014)
