Auchentoshan Virgin Oak
Country: Scotland
Region: Lowlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 46%
Score: 86 Points
This Auchie has a nose of lemon pepper, linseed oil, allspice, oak shavings and sawdust, and just a hint of caramel. The taste is spicy and bold with good pepperiness, lemon peel, caramel, and oak notes. The finish is slightly tart and lemony with peppery touches, and turns slightly aromatic as it fades.
