This expression was bottled for travel retail sales in Germany and the UK, and is also available at the distillery’s visitors center. The nose has notes of cocoa and roasted coffee beans, a soft peaty smokiness, wet oak, and honey. The taste starts out with coffee, caramel and hazelnut notes at first, then a fruity burst of orange peel and grapefuit wakens up the tongue. Smoky touches hold it all together. The finish is long and smoky with a touch of roasted coffee beans. (April, 2013)
