This is one of three Triple Cask expressions available only in the travel retail market, along with 16 and 25-year-old versions. The nose is classic Balvenie with notes of banana, vanilla, honey, a touch of maltiness, dried fruits, and a hint of allspice. The taste has banana, honeycomb, allspice, a little bit of pepper, and a licorice note that leads into the finish…which fades quickly to a steady, lingering fruitiness with orange peel and banana notes.
