Lochside 1965
Country: Scotland
Region: Highlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Adelphi
ABV: 52.3%
Score: 95 Points
The nose is rich and rum-like with dried fruits, brown sugar, burnt vanilla, dates, and a hint of orange peel. The taste is thick, rich, and oily with orange peel and hints of ginger, almonds, and nutmeg. The finish is very long with almonds, brown sugar, and a hint of orange peel. Outstanding!
