Single Cask Nation BenRiach 17 Cask #2522
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Single Cask Nation
ABV: 53.2%
Score: 89 Points
This peated BenRiach single cask bottling comes from a second-fill ex-Bourbon cask, and the nose has mild peat, honey, vanilla, and coconut notes with a hint of dark chocolate. The taste is creamy and smooth at first, with a peaty bite that builds to a strong peak and lingers for a while. Hints of honey and coconut cream pie come out as the peat fades and lasts through the finish. Nice!
