Producing WhiskyCast has given me the opportunity to taste some really amazing whiskies, and I’m pleased to share my tasting notes with you here. You can search my entire database of tasting notes from this page, and I hope you’ll find it useful.
This Ledaig was matured in French St. Joseph’s Oak, and the nose is rich and fruity with blackberry pie and a hint of plum. The taste is thick and spicy with chili powder, honey, blackberry, and a hint of dried orange peel. The finish has notes of blackberry, orange peel, and a hint of licorice.
