The nose has a good maltiness with notes of vanilla, caramel candy, ginger root, and brown sugar. The taste has a good balance with a slow buildup of clove, cardamom, and cinnamon spices to a nice crescendo, while not overpowering vanilla, honey, and ginger notes underneath. The spices fade to reveal a creamy mouthfeel leading into the long, smooth finish with lingering spices and a slight dryness. Very nice. (April, 2016)
