Johnnie Walker Platinum Label
Country: Scotland
Region:
Type: Blended Scotch
Bottler: Diageo
ABV: 40%
Score: 87 Points
The nose is creamy and smooth with notes of allspice, smoky oak, roasted almonds, and hints of honey and toffee. The taste is smooth at first with a citrusy tartness that turns into spicy cinnamon, then fades back to subtle lemon peel with honey and black tea notes that linger through the finish. The finish fades quickly, leaving touches of cinnamon and licorice on the palate. Quite complex.
