The nose has slight touches of brine and smoke, along with notes of seafood, a good maltiness, banana, coconut, and a hint of almonds. The taste is fruity and vibrant with spices that build up over time and notes of red apples, fresh berries, and touches of smoke and brine that come alive leading into the finish. The finish has those classic Campbeltown notes along with gently fading spices and a nice, smoothly fading glow. Very nice. (September, 2015)
