The nose is fruity with red grapes, a hint of plums, and a nice maltiness. The taste has a good balance of spices and fruity notes with touches of baking spices, fresh berries, barley sugar, red grapes, and plums. The finish is long with lingering spices and hints of fruit in the background. Water accentuates the fruity notes on the palate and the spices on the finish. (August, 2018)
