This Bourbon-style whisky from Urban Distillers in Kelowna, British Columbia is distilled from locally-grown corn. The nose is light with soft spices, honey vanilla, cocoa powder, and oak. The taste is light and fruity with notes of apples and peaches at first, followed by spicy notes of allspice and ground peppercorns that come alive slowly along with hints of cocoa, honey, and vanilla underneath. The finish is long and slightly dry with subtle spices. (February, 2019)
