The Whisky Agency Irish 1989. Image courtesy Speciality Drinks. This single cask bottling for The Whisky Exchange is a 27-year-old single malt from an undisclosed Irish distillery (very likely located in County Antrim, but that’s not confirmed), and the type of barrel isn’t specified. The nose is fruity and floral with touches of apples, peaches, orange peel, and raspberry jam. The taste has good spices with honey, apples, peaches, and fresh berries underneath providing an excellent balance. The finish is long and spicy. Very nice. (November, 2017)
