ABV: 48.8%

The Glenrothes Whisky Maker's Cut. Image courtesy The Glenrothes/Edrington.This single malt is bottled at a higher strength than most Glenrothes expressions, and it shows. The first-fill ex-Sherry casks give it a nose full of toffee, orange marmalade, and vanilla notes. The taste has a good balance of baking spices, orange marmalade, honey, and vanilla. The finish is long with lingering spices, dried orange peel, and a hint of vanilla. Excellent! (January, 2019)
