The Glenrothes 2005 Willow Park bottling. Image courtesy Willow Park Wines & Spirits. This 12-year-old single cask from The Glenrothes was bottled for Willow Park Wines & Spirits in Canada, and is bottled at a cask-strength 66.7% ABV. The nose is slightly dry and dusty with notes of dried fruits, orange blossom honey, a hint of crystallized ginger, and black tea. The taste is intense, but well-balanced with dried apricots, apple slices, orange peel, honey, crystallized ginger, black tea, and a hint of clove. The finish is long and smooth with a good complexity of fruit, spices, and oak. Wow! (February, 2018)
