Stalk & Barrel Single Malt Whisky. Image courtesy Still Waters Distillery. This single cask bottling from Still Waters Distillery in the Toronto suburbs has a soft and malty nose with touches of caramel candy, honey, and a hint of lemon oil furniture polish. The taste is smooth and well-rounded at first with malty barley sugar and caramel candy notes, followed by subtle notes of allspice, white pepper, and a hint of lemon zest. The finish is long and soft with a slight tartness. Very nice! (April, 2018)
