Slyrs 2009 Vintage

Country: Germany

Region: Bavaria

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 43%

Score: 86 Points

This Bavarian single malt from Germany has a nose that’s malty with notes of straw, grass, nuts, and a touch of honey that comes out over time. The taste is peppery, with notes of honey and a slight maltiness. A touch of caramel candy adds sweetness. The finish has a lingering pepperiness with a touch of lemon peel tartness. Nice for a 3-year-old single malt, with potential for the future.  (March, 2013)
