Rolling Standard Midwestern Four Grain

Country: USA

Region: Missouri

Type: American Whiskey

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46%

Score: 92 Points

Rolling Standard Midwestern Four Grain Whiskey. Image courtesy Union Horse Distilling. This is a very unique whiskey from Kansas City’s Union Horse Distilling, which blended its wheated Bourbon and its American Single Malt together to create Rolling Standard. The nose has notes of roasted almonds, maple wood smoke, a hint of spices, blackberry jam, honey, and vanilla. The taste is thick and spicy with cinnamon, black pepper, honey, almonds, and a hint of fruit in the background. The finish is long with subtle spices and a hint of baked fruits. Excellent!
