McKenzie Bottled in Bond Bourbon. Image courtesy Finger Lakes Distilling. This wheated Bourbon is the first Bottled in Bond whiskey for New York’s Finger Lakes Distilling. The nose is aromatic with touches of dark chocolate, honey, vanilla, a hint of oak, muted spices, and banana cream pie. The taste is citrusy-tart with lemon pepper, linseed oil, a hint of clove, honey, and roasted corn on the cob. The finish is good and long with a nice oakiness, lingering spices, citrus fruits, and a hint of honey. Very nice! (February, 2019)
