This wheated Bourbon is the first Bottled in Bond whiskey for New York’s Finger Lakes Distilling. The nose is aromatic with touches of dark chocolate, honey, vanilla, a hint of oak, muted spices, and banana cream pie. The taste is citrusy-tart with lemon pepper, linseed oil, a hint of clove, honey, and roasted corn on the cob. The finish is good and long with a nice oakiness, lingering spices, citrus fruits, and a hint of honey. Very nice! (February, 2019)
