This is the first expression from Taiwan’s King Car Distillery, and it shows promise for the future. The nose is clean with hints of tropical fruits, floral notes, vanilla, and honey. The taste has a spicy start that fades to show notes of mango and papaya that linger on the tongue. The finish is sweet, but too short — the only area where this malt could be better.
