Highland Park Dragon Legend. Image courtesy Highland Park/Edrington. This UK-exclusive release has subtle Orkney peat smokiness on the nose, along with toasted caramel and vanilla, honey, a touch of orange peel, and hints of dried fruits that come out as the whisky sits in your glass. The taste starts off light and tart, followed by a burst of spice and smoke along with notes of grilled pineapple, clove, and white pepper that create a nice complexity and balance. The finish is long and smoky with honey sweetness and a soft touch of grilled pineapple. (February, 2019)
