Glenturret "Glen's Cask" Single Malt. Image courtesy Glenturret/Edrington.This distillery-exclusive bottling is named for one of the two cats currently working as mousers at Glenturret, and “Glen’s Cask” is an American Oak ex-Sherry cask that was filled in 2003 before being made available as a “bottle-your-own” selection in 2017.

The nose is fruity with notes of peaches, red apples, fresh berries, honey, and hints of toffee and coconut. The taste is thick, chewy, and powerful with a good balance of spices and vibrant fresh fruits. Cinnamon, clove, and white pepper are complemented by fresh peaches, apples, honey, and vanilla. The finish is long, warming, and spicy with nice fruity touches in the background. Excellent! (February, 2018)
