Coopers' Craft Barrel Reserve. Image courtesy Brown-Forman. This Bourbon is an extension of the Coopers’ Craft range introduced by Brown-Forman in 2018, and uses “chiseled” barrels designed to get more wood in contact with the whiskey during maturation. The nose is aromatic with touches of caramel, molasses, honey, vanilla, muted spices, and charred oak. The taste is thick, chewy, and spicy with notes of black pepper, cinnamon, vanilla, honey, and caramel. The finish has lingering spices with good touches of cocoa and honey that add balance.
