Bladnoch 10 Years Old. Image courtesy Bladnoch Distillery. This limited-edition release is matured in ex-Bourbon casks, and the nose has notes of butterscotch, dried flowers, and a hint of citrus. The taste starts off thick and oily at first, followed by a touch of white pepper that fades slowly to reveal hints of honey, vanilla, and cocoa beans. The finish is long, but subtle and gentle. Very nice! (July, 2018)
