Years ago, it would have been easy to compile a list of the world’s whisky distilleries. After Scotland, Ireland, the U.S., and Canada, there were only a handful of distilleries scattered around the world.
That’s changed, as dozens of distilleries in “non-traditional” whisky-producing countries are giving us excellent whiskies. These are some of the more well-known “world” distillers and bottlers, and if you know of one that needs to be added to the list, please let us know.
