This whisky comes from Seattle’s Westland Distillery, and was matured for two years before bottling.
The nose has a note of cherry pie with graham cracker crust, vanilla, hints of cocoa, and a whiff of pine. The taste has black cherries, clove, coconut, dark chocolate, roasted almonds, and pine sap with good balance and complexity. The finish has notes of pine sap, clove, coconut, and a nice hint of banana. (January, 2014)
