Tomatin 14 Year Old Highland Single Malt. Image courtesy Tomatin. This single malt replaces the Tomatin 15 in the distillery’s permanent range, and is matured for 13 years in ex-Bourbon barrels with a final year in Portuguese Tawny Port pipes.

The nose is warm and aromatic, bringing back memories of the kitchen at baking time with notes of baked apples, fresh blueberry cobbler, graham cracker pie crust, honey, a hint of allspice, and a nice maltiness. The taste is warm and inviting with baked berry cobbler, honey, allspice, clove, and a hint of figs. The finish is long, warm, and smooth with subtle spicy touches of clove and cinnamon. Excellent!
