The Macallan Reflexion. Image courtesy The Macallan/Edrington. One of the whiskies in the 1824 Masters Series, and matured in first-fill ex-Sherry hogsheads.

The nose is aromatic with notes of dried fruits, brown sugar, blood oranges, and subtle spices. The taste is fruity and rich with tropical fruits and a hint of licorice, then turns slightly dry and dusty leading into the finish with its notes of dried fruits and a hint of spice, but with good length and vibrancy despite the dusty mouthfeel.
