The 2014 edition in The Macallan Masters of Photography Series was blended from six different casks of The Macallan, and in a unique twist, each of the 1,000 bottles also comes with samples of each of the six casks.

The nose is aromatic and warm with notes of honey, baked oranges, Christmas cake, ginger, and brown sugar. The taste has intense fruity notes of orange, mango, and papaya balanced by ginger and cardamom spices at first, then brings in flavors of licorice and Manuka honey with a growing dryness leading into the finish, which also has touches of orange oils and dark chocolate. A few drops of water help to build up the fruitiness and increase the balance and complexity. (December, 2014)
