The Macallan Amber. Image courtesy The Macallan. The nose on this Macallan 1824 Series edition is aromatic with notes of dried flowers, vanilla, malty touches, and caramel apples. The taste is tart with green apples, lemon peel, subtle cinnamon and ginger spicy notes, and touches of vanilla and oak. The finish is very dry with green apples, lemon peel, and a touch of maltiness. (May, 2013)
