The Glenrothes Sherry Cask Reserve. Image courtesy The Glenrothes. This is part of The Glenrothes Reserve Collection, and the nose has notes of créme brûlée, orange peel, Christmas cake, marzipan, vanilla, and ginger. The taste is spicy and fruity with baked oranges, clove, ginger root, and a hint of cinnamon. The finish is very long and spicy with lingering cinnamon, clove, orange peel, and vanilla notes. Excellent! (September, 2015)
