The Glenrothes 1991 Vintage. Image courtesy The Glenrothes/Berry Bros. & Rudd. This Speyside single malt has a fruity nose with notes of dates, figs, baked oranges, brown sugar, molasses, hints of allspice and clove in the background, and a touch of almonds. The taste is surprisingly spicy with cinnamon, clove, orange peel, molasses, and brown sugar. The finish lingers with a nice spicy touch and a mouth-watering fruitiness with hints of grapefruit and figs. (June, 2015)
